Can anyone else confirm an issue when pasting from Excel for Mac (2011) into a new e-mail.
The Lotus Notes client stops responding and crashes when pasting from excel.
We have two MBP’s each showing the same issue.

Yes. I have this problem when pasting from Excel for Mac 14.4.6 into Notes 9 fp 2
Also have the problem pasting from Excel 2013 (running in a parallels VM) into Notes 9 fp 2 in Yosemite.
Accessing paste special from the top menu and choosing paste as rich text does work from either version of Excel

This seems to work. Copying and pasting in prior version worked just fine.
Can use this as a work around until its fixed, the annoying part is If you forget to do this the client completely crashes.

The Good
Well IBM FINALLY fixed the issue with copy paste of excel file into the IBM notes client.
Several months since reported and they finally issued a patch with a fix
Applied the update and confirmed that yes in fact that it seems to work.
The Bad
IBM’s Q/A team needs to perform more testing!!!
Now the paste of images/screen shots (which I use EVERY DAY DOZENS OF TIME) Crashes the IBM Notes Client
I Cannot believe the quality of the software coming out of IBM Notes team. Maybe the IBM layoffs are impacting this team?
Didn’t I read some where that IBM and Apple have a joint venture for enterprise? MobileLast, MobileMaybe, MobileFirst
and 4 months after Yosemite is released we will don’t have usable Mac Notes Client?
