xPages ssjs calling java - waiting for session to finish - works on one server but not the other

Running server 8.5.2. Calling a java class using ssjs I created that get a webpage from the internet.

The java class method is static and return nothing (void) and creates a notesdoc with the fetched data.

My class works perfectly on local and on one server running win 2003 64bits

When I replicte the db to another server win longhorn 64bit. Running domno32 bits the http task hangs with waiting for session to finish. The session never finish. I have to restart the whole server to get it back

-i have reinstalled the dominoserver

-i have checked all settings in the serverdocs and notes.ini and they seem identical

  • tried to change the heap values but that didn’t help

  • the both servers have 3gb of ram each

-i have disabled all firewall rules on the server

  • I have upgraded all the latest windows update fixes

  • I have refreshed the DDE project on the faulting server.

  • I have tried different webbrowsers.

  • There are no other services running on the windows server, e.g no traveler, no sametime, nothing! it is a fresh new installed windows and Dominoserver running Windows Longhorn 64bits, with Domino 32bits.

  • i have done a lot of googling but can’t seem to find out what is causing this

Please help me find out why my http task is hanging on one server and not the other. the only error I get is when I do “tell http q”, I get this error:

27.12.2010 10:31:03 HTTP Server: Waiting for session to finish: Session State [Processing Request] Session ID [16] Thread ID [1124 (0x464)] GET /mydb.nsf/home.xsp?sc=news HTTP/1.1

is there a way to extend the logging?, I find no problem in the log files in the domino-log dir and nothing in the log.nsf on the server.

the http task is not responding after I called my java class, no webpages are working.

Thanks

Thomas

Subject: maybe

Seem to be working now but not sure which action I did solved it.

  • I upgraded to Windows 2008 SP2

  • I fixed a reported tcp network error.

  • I reinstalled Domino again (8.5.2)
