xPages oneUI css customisation

I’ve been experimenting with xPages, and the oneui layout and theme look good, and are a good starting point to build new apps

But, I want to be able to update the css to use different colour schemes.

I can see where the css files are on the server, and could potentially copy them and go through changing the colours where necessary. Or, I could start from scratch and build my own css.

Both are a lot of work obviously, so just wondering if anyone has tried them and can suggest which is easier. I like the idea of updating the installed css as then all the other attributes are dealt with already, but then which ones do I need to use? This will be for internal use only so I don’t need to support right to left browsers.

Subject: changing colors

I believe that the new oneUI version 2 which is in beta supports different color schemes. The beta files should be on your 8.5.1 server and there is a website with the full documentation. Sorry I don’t have the links handy.

Declan Lynch (qtzar.com) and I talked about this a little at Lotusphere in BP207. I don’t think I ever posted the files. I’ll try to post them by the weekend. It’ll probably be on lotusnotebook.com but might also end up on notesin9.com.

I have seen these, but I really need to use specific (house style) colours.

Also, the beta versions mess up some of the formatting of basic views anyway, but I guess that’ll be fixed for release
