I apologize if this has been documented (I looked on the forums and only saw one slight reference to this problem but it was never answered). Is anyone else having trouble with column headers not appearing in the data table control?
After I place a computed field in a header of a data table column I usually get a “java.lang.NullPointerException” error and the header will not show on the xpage. If I manually enter the XML for the facet it still will not show.
The one reference I’ve seen to this problem is here: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd85forum.nsf/5f27803bba85d8e285256bf10054620d/b0eda98f196d2587852574cd0055d483?OpenDocument (the response to this doc talks about the error). I tried what this guy did, copying the data table code verbatim into my xpage and the column header still will not show.
