Xpage - Domino 8.5

Hi there,

I am currently testing Xpage on my test environment which is a close network(not connect to the internet). When I run Xpage, it did not generate the page as it should be. Instead it shown as XML source code. By the way, our server is still Domino server 8.0 but I am using Domino designer 8.5

  1. What caused the Xpage to not generate a Page properly.

  2. Do the xmlns xp=“http://www.ibm.com/xsp/core” and xmlns xc=“http://www.ibm.com/xsp/custom” need to be connected to IBM site to run Xpage?

  3. Can Installing Domino 8.5 server solve this problem?

  4. Can these namespaces be downloaded to put in the server and called locally.

XPages is a server based technology. You can’t deploy XPages without an 8.5 server.
