XenApp 5.0 with Notes 8.0.2 or 8.5

We are looking to upgrade our Windows Server 2003 32-bit/Citrix Presentation servers from 4.0 to Windows 2008 Server 32-bit/Citrix XenApp Server 5.0 within the next 8 months or so.

We are also upgrading our Lotus Notes clients running on Citrix from 7.0.3 to 8.0.2 - either before or after our Citrix Server upgrades.

The Notes Supported Configuration lists Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 as the supported configuration for 8.0.2 and 8.5.

3 Questions:

  1. Is anyone running Windows Server 2003 32-bit/Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 with Notes 8.0.2?

  2. Is anyone running Windows 2008 Server 32-bit/Citrix XenApp Server 5.0 with Notes 8.0.2 or 8.5?

  3. Has any one heard when the Lotus Notes client support for Citrix XenApp Server 5.0 is likely to be announced?

Hi we’re running XenApp 5.0 on Windows 2008 Server R1. The only Notes client, that actually works is 8.0.2. I tried 8.5 but it won’t start (installation works).

I am not a Notes Pro (i don’t even like Notes) but if you have questions, do not hesitate to contact me (if this is possible in this 90s-style forum)
