Wrong week numbers in 2010

Hi,

Has anyone noticed that the weeknumbers in Notes for 2010 are wrong - that they are one week ahead.

E.g

Notes: 1/1-2010 = week 1

Other: 1/1-2010 = week 53

Notes: 29/1-2010 = week 5

Other: 29/1-2010 = week 4

Notes: 26/2-2010 = week 9

Other: 26/2-2010 = week 8

Strange!

Was looking for a solution for the same problem, and found this solution here:深圳官雅影视文化发展有限公司

Use Custom settings in desktop poliy and the notes.ini parameter: FooterWeekNo=2

Work around is to Select File - Preferences… Calendar and To Do - Regional Settings

Week Numbers Section

Change “Use my operating system regional settings” to Always user the ISO standard

Subject: Very good!

Many thanks for the reply.

Subject: But how do you distribute to all users?

Nice to have identified the issue, but how do you distribute this setting to all users? There is no policy for this, and I cannot find anything on notes.ini settings regarding this.Ideas?

Subject: 8.5.1 → Desktop Policy

Hi Klaus,

came across your post. When having updated to 8.5.1 (?, don’t know if it’s working with 8.5) you can create a desktop setting that you use in a desktop policy. Just enter the notes.ini-setting on the “Custom Settings” tab at the end of the policy settings.

If before, there is an IBM-Doc that tells you about adding a field to the policy document:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=463&uid=swg21196837

Hope that helps.

Subject: You’re right

It may be something to do with the way the week numbers are worked out (ie American against rest of the world), but the International ISO standard has 53 weeks this year, Notes doesn’t so I reckon it should be fixed
