When we restart our Domino server after backups, the server starts without a problem, but we are unable to see the console from the iSeries when we do a WRKDOMSVR and take option 5 to display console.
We can see the console activity through Notes Administrator.
Any ideas why this happens? As I said, the server starts without error and is operational.

We had a similar issue a while back. We ended up calling IBM for support. It turned out BRMS had a lock on some tmp files. We excluded them from our backup. I think there was also a PTF. I’d strongly recommend calling support - it might not seem like that big of a deal to not be able to use the console, but this may be only the tip of the iceberg of consequences that you aren’t seeing all of yet.
