Wouldn’t it be good if you could use the Lotus Notes client without a User ID, perhaps be able to just use the internet user id/password of your person document.
This way, to set a new user all that needs to be done is to just create a person document and not bother with the user id (I’m finding creating user IDs is very hard in small companies who do not have a Notes administrator).
Does anybody have any easy ways to roll out an application to a small company who don’t have a Notes administrator?

I haven’t really looked into it, as I’d put myself out of a job if I did…but heard it can be done. Link below. I also seem to recall some 3rd-party-product used to advertise this, but I can’t find them right now.
