Workspace will not open

I’m attempting to open my workspace and when I click, nothing happens.

Method:

  • Click the green ‘Open’ button (top left under File menu)

  • Go down to Applications > Workspace

  • Click

  • Nothing happens

Also unsuccessful:

  • Click the green ‘Open’ button

  • Go down to Applications > Tab 1 (Workspace)

  • Click on any of those documents (my corporate address book, a recently opened database, etc.)

  • Nothing happens

If I add the ‘Workspace’ button to a customized toolbar via File->Preferences->Toobars->Customize, it opens. If I install 8.5 fixpack 1, it stops working. Ideas?

Subject: workspace rebuild

Delete this directory.C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Notes\Data\workspace

it will rebuild

Subject: Fresh install fixed things

I did a fresh install of 8.5 and fixpack 1 and so far things are working correctly. I will try your suggestion if and when my workspace stops opening again.
