Hi,
I tried a bit more on that subject I posted before:
http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/ShowMyTopicsAllThreadedweb/8f406537cdda8a068525729300607937?OpenDocument
It looks as if users need at least editor access with Create shared folders/views.
But these are private views! And they can change them successfully, only the LS script command workspace.ViewRebuild throws the error: “you are not authorized to perform that operation”.
Is that a feature??
We really need them to stay readers/authors…!

Subject: workspace.ViewRebuild only possible with editor + create shared views in the ACL?
Uwe,
But they’re making design changes …
It used to be only designers could do that but some years back they let Editors with that checkbox make certain view design changes.

Subject: RE: workspace.ViewRebuild only possible with editor + create shared views in the ACL?
Raphael,
therefore I designed the view as “shared, private on first use”.
Their design changes are all successful (selection formula, column formula) - without any error message.
The user can see his changes when he changes to another view and come back to his private view (by clicking sth in the nav bar).
Only the command workspace.ViewRebuild throws the error!
