Workspace show unread email counter is different with inbox

When I look at the workspace, it show i have xx emails in red (should be unread). But when I open the inbox and filter with unread email, 0 email show as unread. Actually there is no unread emails.

Why the workspace show I have unread email?

Can this counter be sync with the inbox?

Subject: confused?

The unread count on the icon does not mean unread e-mails, it means unread documents, documents could also be updated design elements, to dos, calendar entries, etc. Try marking all as read (Edit > Unread Marks > Mark All Read) and go from there.
