I have a web application on a Domino, which is being relocated behind a reverse proxy. As the result, the url is being changed from
http://mydomino.mycompany.com/dir/to/my/app
to
http://www.mycompany.com/a_context_root/dir/to/my/app
Unfortunately, most of the @Command’s on the server side such as @Command([Compose]; “FormName”) or @DbCommand( “Domino” ; “ViewNextPage” ) generates error because the domino generated url tries to show the next page with the physical hostname&path (ie. still tries to use the old URL). Also the client side codes generated by Domino such as “_doClick()” Javascript method on the HTML pages does not reflect the context root on the client side because server doesn’t know about it.
Can this be fixed by some settings on the server configurations? I don’t know too much about the ‘web site’ document… but would that help?
Can you set up an ‘Internet Site’ for web with ‘www.mycompany.com/a_context_root’ so that anything Domino generates get appended afterwards?
The ‘…/a_context_root/’ part of the URL is assigned to us at the reverse proxy level.
