with the dwa7 as mailfile and forms85;error in inotes 8 on the web::

After server upgraded to 8.5 Domino server.

On opening webmail we are getting error message as below

Subject: DWA7 Template and Domino 8.5.1

When I upgraded from 7.0.3 to 8.5.1, the old formsX files and inotes and dwa templates were removed by the installer (went from 32 to 64 bit). While none of my users were using mail85.ntf, DWA users experience looked like the 8.5.1 template. I had to copy the templates (dwa7 and inotes6) and the associated forms and cab files into the new install to get the proper look and function.

You might try copying the forms files over from a 7.0.x server. Place them in the appropriate folders.

Thanks for the info.

I believe these are the files which are removed.

Forms7.nsf

dwa7.cab

dwa7W.cab

dwa7res_en.dll

But when we place these files in server.The webmail opens as in inotes 7.

I mean it does not give the look and feel of inotes 8 instead it looks same as in inotes7.

Please suggest incase anything else needed to be set up.

Any help would be appreciated.

You’ll need to update the template of you users mail dbs to the mail85.ntf template.
