Most of our users phones have Android. There is no problem with forwarding of e-mails.
We have a several users of WinPhone and there is problem with forwarding of e-mails.
Forwarding messages arrives incomplete - text is truncated… it looks that first “ENTER” stopping forwarding and characters after this are ignored.
Does anyone have any idea? Thanks
I find on the phone the setting: „Always download full message and Internet images“. But it did not help. I`m tryying to solve a problem with a simple e-mails (only with text). WinPhone is forwarding this incomplete (forwarding on Android is all right). Forwarded messages comes well into Notes but incorrectly to an external mail.
Subject: Re: WinPhone devices problem - incomplete forwarding mails
Hello Dada!
There are some server limitations and restrictions regarding IBM Traveler.
The restriction described as “Mail attachments are not always included on reply and forward.” is like the issue reported by you:
If you are replying to or forwarding a mail message on the mobile device that has had its attachments removed because of IBM Traveler truncation options, then you must first retrieve the complete email message and reply to or forward it from the device. This same restriction applies to a large amount of email body text that may have been truncated. In order to resend the entire message from the device, it must first be retrieved using the Download Message option.
