Probably my bad… I tried to reinstall Notes + FP8 once again, and the installer told me that it couldn’t overwrite notes2.exe: Access denied. The file got “stuck” in a folder (in C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Notes\framework\rcp\eclipse\plugins\com.ibm.rcp.base_9.0.1.20131002-1404\win32\x86). I tried everything to remove the file manually, until I found out using the Process Explorer that the file was locked by MalwareBytes. Exit MalwareBytes, reinstall Notes + FP8, and now it all seems to work again.
By the way, I had to remove the Workspace sub-folder as well. Now it’s solved.
That’s exactly my finding, too, the personal homepage. How can I get rid of it, if Notes isn’t able to start? Any notes.ini setting that can be deleted?
Subject: Re: Windows 10 Creator edition blue screen - can reproduce
I can reproduce the behaviour Manuel mentioned.
This only happens, when the user has created a personal homepage. If he goes with the Discover page or even the blank defaut homepage the crashes don’t occur.

Microsoft delivered a new fix yesterday for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-basierte Systeme (KB4022716)
After the installation we do not have problems . But will test on more devices.
This update contain the fix
Addressed issue (Error 0x7F) with Windows Forms (WinForms) that causes the system to crash after upgrading to the Creators Update.
I am running Domino Designer 9.0.1 FP8 IF1 on Windows 10 Pro 1703 (64bit) and have NEVER experienced this issue. I don’t think it has to do with Notes but a bad driver. You need to contact Microsoft support and work with them to find what is causing the problem. I see no evidence that Notes is the cause of this problem.
