Window.open does not work in notes browser

Hi Im trying to open a window using the CSJS onComplete event with a simple windows.open(“URL”), when using IE or Firefox works fine but in the notes web browser I get a 0x80004001 error NS_ERROR_NOT_IMPLEMENTED nsIDOMJSWindow.open any clues on whats wrong
