Providing you are not using any of the new Notes 6 functionality your Notes 6 database should work on a Notes 5 client. This goes for the Notes 5 database too.

I would just note that after creating a database in 6 you would run a risk of problems if you try to then modify the database using a R5 client.

I don’t know if people remember the R5/R4 issues, but those same rules will apply.
