Why would Add a Calendar not show as an option?

Any ideas where I can find the option to turn this on? Or know why the option wouldn’t snow?

What are you expecting to see Add To Calendar on? This is a broadcast, an event announcement, or a meeting invite? Are accept/decline buttons showing? Is it possible that it is a message from a non-Notes client that is simply being interpreted as an email (memo)? If you can copy the message into a blank and unencrypted NSF file I can take a look at it to get more details.Thanks

Subject: It’s Add a Calendar

Oh, it’s the “Add a Calendar” option in the left navigation pane in calendar view where you can place a checkmark and overlay the view of another calendar. Why might that option not be there? I’ve checked my Notes version (8.5.1) and ensured the database templated is 8.5 as well.

replace/update your mail database template to the one in the current client.open mail

click More → Preferences…

click the Calendar & To Do tab, then the OK button

close mail

launch calendar
