Why won't a mail be selected for archiving?

Hi,

One of our user (on Notes 8.5.1, mail template - 8.5.1) has an Archive criteria to select all the mails (from all the views and folder) not modified in more than 1 day. All the mails except the one sent by a specific 2 recipients which were sent last year are not getting selected for archiving. But if I select that particular mail and do Archive selected mails it goes to archive.

What could be the problem with those mails? There are lot of such mails. One possible solution can be selecting those mails and archiving the selected mails. But I (and also the user) want to know why those mails are not getting selected?

But few mails which were sent after these mails by the same sender got archived. :frowning:

Subject: Look at the message properties…

Years ago, I recall running into a similar problem. In that case, the sender had used Stationery to create the message. The Stationery actually set a document property, something like “NoArchive=1.” Take a look in the document properties for something similar.

UPDATE: I think this was the technote and the field was “ProtectFromArchive”:
