I have a problem. My notes domain in DNS is “regione.vda.it” and in the Global Domain document in the public address book the configured aliases are “regione.valle-aosta.it” and “regione.vallee-aoste.it”.
If I send a message to “user@consiglio.regione.vda.it” from a Notes client (note: this Internet domain is NOT managed from my organization even if it’s similar), the message reach the destination correctly.
If I send the same message to the same user from iNotes web access, the router automatically “replace” the domain “consiglio.regione.vda.it” only with “regione.vda.it” and send the message to another user find in a secondary NAB configured in my domain via Directory Assistance (da50.nsf).
Even if I send a test message to an non-existant domain, for example: “user@abcxdgfd.regione.vda.it” the result is the same: the message is forwarded to “user@regione.vda.it”…
The domino version is 6.5.1 IF1 on Windows 2000 Advanced Server. “SMTP used when sending messages outside of the local internet domain” is Enabled and in the Global Domain document “Internet address lookup” is enabled.
