My pc connecting and NIC addressing automaticaly throuth DHCP, gateway, proxy…
I have email send/recive with “Microsoft outlook” and it’s work fine.
I have Notes Client R6. Have in [local “address book”] (LAB) 2 accounts:

Incomming internet mail-POP with 111.222.333.444 server, with user name and password.

Outgoing internet mail-SMTP with 111.222.333.444 server, with user name and password.
In location document “Mail” tab is “Send outgoing mail: directly to Internet”
Incomming mail works fine, but outgoing - none: “SMTP protocol returned a permanent error”
Help ! ! !
