I have a text field called FieldText. In my view , I have a column called ColumnText, which just reference to value in FieldText.
I uploaded some data, the first column, value is number, but uploaded into this column in the view, which is ColumnText.
Thus, it will gives me error. However, if I go to this document and refresh it, the view will show the value in FieldText.
I tried @If formula, in the translation event of FieldText, @IsDocBeingSaved, @IsDocBeingRecalculated, @IsText, @IsNumber, etc, if value is true, than, @Text(FieldText).
However, it still does not work. Any suggestion what could be the reason?
Subject: RE: Why my translate to text formula not working
tqvm, I realised the formula could be working, it seems that I have other @If formula in the same column, and that also gives out error.
You are quite right, I just add the @Text, and it all works now. Just that I have to change all columns that previously did not have @Text with it, as I did not notice this error, as I refreshed the documents many times, and it has already been translated into text.
I realised this error the moment I check my view immediately after uploading these data.
