I was wondering if anybody has worked out a way of preventing users from changing the values in the ‘Who can read this document’ section in the security tab of the document properties.
By default it’s set to ‘All Readers and Above’, but if I understand it correctly whoever created the document can modify this setting to whatever they want, and it acts like a readers field - if you’re not in the list you can’t read it.
As a work around I can put another readers field on the doc and ensure that certain groups can always see all docs, but preferably I’d like to turn the option off. Anybody got any ideas?
