How might I determine which tab of a tabbed table has been clicked?

  1. Give your table a name in the properties, on the last tab, top field, e.g., "MyTable"2. Using the same name, create on the form a “$” field using that table name, e.g., “$MyTable”.

  2. Make the table Programmatic but also show tabs for user selection.

The result is … initially the field is blank, so use PostOpen & PostModeChange to set the table to the desired tab.

From that point on your tab name will appear in the field.

This will let you pick up the tab name from that field for any row-based, context-sensitive work.
