hi…I’m planning to buy a server for domino. Which server is best like enterprise server,application server,mail server,discovery server? I have to use the server for mailing,application,chatting and webserver purpose. I don’t know the difference between these servers. Pls guide me to buy a good server for my company.

Domino Mail Server is only for mail- Domino entreprise is mail + custom app + support for clustering and other advanced stuff…
Domino Utility is for custom app only (no mail)

Do not forget the new offering : Domino Express (mail + applications in a easy to install and reasonably price pac)
My advice is you consider Express and Entreprise. After, see if you need Sametime(notice here that the forthcoming 6.5 version of client will leverage sametime with some really cool feature…)
note :Discovery server is another product (knowledge managment)
For Chat, you’ll need Sametime server.
