Where to look if only one OU receives UseBasicNotes=1 in thier notes.ini file?

Cannot find any field name $PrefUseBasicNotes in the desktop setings document

the desktop policy settings has no longer the field $prefusebasicnotes but I see the value being added in the notes.ini for one of my OU
