Where is the component palette and how do I turn it on?

I have 8.5 standard – or whatever the full version is called – on my home computer. I keep seeing references to the component palette but I see no such thing anywhere. For example the Help says

If the component palette is not open, click View > Show Palette

But there is no such thing under the View menu.

Is the problem that I am not connected to any server?

Hi.Yes, the help documentation is outdated. Since this is based upon Eclipse (or seems to be in most cases) use the following:

Window->Show Eclipse Views->Controls

By default, these Controls are not visible if you design XPages the first time…
