Where does dircat store the users server name

Hi,

I have just built the dircat, however i am not quite sure how it is supposed to work.

I have all my directories listed in the dircat however no user has a server name associated with them. How do emails therefore get routed through to the correct servers?

The user’s client sends the email to his/her home server, which has a complete name and address book, which is used to route the mail to the correct user on the correct server.

The dircat is simply a condensed address book listing user names, and its condensed format makes the process of replication to the client a lot faster as well as makes the name lookup process faster.
