What exactly are you looking for?
Templates are found in the Data directory on the Notes/Domino Server and on the Notes Client. They have an extension of NTF.
Are you looking for a specific template or all of them?

I’m looking for a Template with several columns for Text. There should be a views sorted by each of the columns. It needs no special design or actions.
I could not find a right one on our server. All are to complex.
Isn’t there a source online anywhere?

There are several sources online. The Sandbox here on LDD has many sample databases that you can copy and turn into templates. www.openntf.org has many useful applications. There are several other websites that have Domino designs you can download. And it sounds like you already looked at the ones that come with Domino.
However, these are grouped based on the purpose of the application – library catalog, ERP system, discussion database. There is no way to search for an application that meets the description you have given – and really, what you’re describing is so simple that there’s no reason anyone would bother to post a template for it. Any Domino developer with just a little experience would find it simpler to just create the application from scratch rather than search through all the possible downloads for one that matches what they want to do.
Also, your field names and the organization of your forms should match what you’re trying to do. You wouldn’t want to take a generic application with fields named Field1, Field2, etc. that just happens to contain the right number of fields and has no bearing to the task you want to perform. Are some of the fields required, or is it acceptable to you if they are all blank? Is there a list of values that you want to have the user select from? Are they really all text fields, or are you just willing to settle for text to save yourself trouble?

There are Help Files and various books out there but you are going to have to create your own template.
The idea behind Notes is that they provide you the basic templates for EMail, Calendar, Discussion Database, an Address Book and a few others. The rest is up to you. If you don’t know how to do this, I suggest you locate either a book, a class or a consultant.
Who is in charge of your Notes Server? Do you have an Administrator on staff that might have some knowledge of Development? If not, you need to augment your staff and bring one on board if you anticipate designing any new databases in the future.
