Where can I download Domino COM Toolkit

I tried searching all over the internet and ibm downloads, I need to find “Domino COM toolkit for 6.5”.

I do not want c++ toolkit or the c toolkit or the sametime toolkit, I can find everything but the Domino COM Toolkit.

Seems like this question was asked before and there are some links pointing to download, but this references have are out of date and pointing to Trail, Evaluation and Beta downloads.

I just would like download the Domino COM toolkit, I am planning to use it in C++ and VB;

If anybody knows pointers to C++ samples using the COM toolkit that would be very helpful. Any book that elebrates on this would be wonderful too.

First things first, God help me with the location Domino 6.5 COM toolkit.

Thanks a lot for your help, I really appreciate it, I have been working on this for many hours.

Subject: COM Toolkit is no longer available

But this article is a useful introduction to accessing Domino objects from VB:

Subject: Where can I download Domino COM Toolkit

THere is no such thing as a ‘COM Toolkit’.

in c++:

#import “domobj.tlb” or “notes32.tlb”

in .net and vb:

add a reference to domobj.tlb or notes32.tlb

example in c++(for vb look at designer help):

Domino::ISessionPtr pSession = 0;

HRESULT hr = pSession.CreateInstance(_T(“Lotus.NotesSession”));

pSession.Initialize(_bstr_t(0)); //or whatever your pwd is

or

lotus::NOTESSESSIONPtr pSession = 0;

lotus::NOTESUIWORKSPACEPtr pWS = 0;

HRESULT hr = pSession.CreateInstance(_T(“Notes.NotesSession”));

hr = pWS.CreateInstance(_T(“Notes.NotesUIWorkspace”));

the rest should be pretty self expanatory from documentation

Install Lotus Notes and Domino Designer. The COM classes will be installed with them. You can not use the COM classes without having the Notes client installed. The documentation is in the Domino Designer help file.
