When switching locations, the login dialog box asks for the password to be entered. It displays the name of the user I am switching from but will only accept the password of the user that I’m switching to. Has anyone encountered this?

Check your location document. Under the Advanced tab make sure where it reads: " User ID to switch to" it shows the correct path and correct user ID. If it doesn’t have an ID in it click on the flashlight and go to the ID and double click on it.
