When opening database, only left frame displays

Hi - We’ve seen this issue off and on from 8.0 - 8.5 FP1.

Have not been able to reproduce it “on demand” but it seems to be if users leave their PCs for short time (like over lunch).

When launching a database (can even be stock lotus database) the right frame will not display; only the left frame displays. Once this error happens, the only fix we can find is to close the Notes client and re-open.

I’ve searched for a fix and was unable to find one - sorry if I missed (please post a link?!)

I’ve also opened a PMR but the investigative time for the data support required was going to take a lot of man hours to obtain.

Any suggestions?

This is still happens with some frequency to me on my 8.5.1 linux clien.

Cleaning out the data directory seems to get rid of the issue…just trying to figure out what exactly this could be.
