I’ve patched my Server OS and restarted. What should be the new DSTLAW value for a W2K box?
Currently the value is… DSTLAW=4,1,1,10,-1,1
Is this the correct value? I’ve read the DSLAW will pick up the OS DST setting and this value will change…

My bad… The server was not patched yet. Need coffee.

I stand corrected. The w2k server has been patched and I confirmed the new dst settings using the tzedit.exe or the windows time zone editor. However, I still have DSTLAW=4,1,1,10,-1,1 in the INI even after removing the value and rebooting the system.
What step am I missing? Is the server really patched but this didn’t take on the domino side?

Hi,
Be sure that the parameter “UseNotesTimeZone=1” (which was undocumented and optional in releases prior to 6.0) is either removed from the server’s notes.ini or modified so that the parameter is set to 0 (zero). Failure to either set the parameter to 0 or to remove it can result in undesired behavior independent of the DST 2007 changes as well as cause the Domino server to delay in revising the DSTLaw parameter.

Yes I did see that in the documentation but none of the servers I support have that Notes.ini parameter. Only DST and DSTLaw.
