What is your favorite web based rich text editor?

On my blog today, I have started a list of rich text editors for the web for a project I am undertaking to test and improve coexistence between rich text fields in the Notes client and on the web. I thought I’d ask here as well, and will later publish a list of what I find and what experiences I have with the different editors (and vendors) for use by others undergoing this torture experience. I am trying to find out the following:

What WYSIWYG HTML editors or other rich text editors do you know about?

What experience or impression do you have of these?

What special features or restrictions do you know that they have (based on MS DHTML control, for example, or Mac-only, or whatever)

How widely used do you think these editors are?

Is there an integration already available with Notes/Domino?

I’ll keep a list going on my blog (see link above) from various sources, but if you post here it will help those people who only read this and don’t go to my site. [Cross-posted with Gold 4&5 Forum]

Hi,

we are in the process of incorporating the following RT-Editor with our CMS. It’s (D)HTML/JavaScript-based, free and v3 works with IE and even newer versions of Netscape (thanks to MIDAS, no… not your MIDAS ;-):

based on this editor there are a few interesting implementations:

this one has quite an impressive list of features including

ms word import

use of ms words spellchecker

use of templates

really complete table fuctions

easy plugin handling

easy configuration
