This is set on a text field. I need this to hide when you are not a part of the [Systems] group, OR if your user rname matches with the RequestorName field.
SensitiveContent is a Radio button with “yes” or “No” as choices. RequestorName is an edit control that will have a user name in it.
SensitiveContent = “Yes” &
(!@Contains(@UserRoles; “[Systems]”) |
@UpperCase(@Name([CN]; @V3UserName)) != @UpperCase(RequestorName))
Please Help!
Subject: What is wrong with my Hide-When?
Try !@IsMember(“[Systems]”; @UserRoles) instead
Subject: Tips for proceding to solve this.
(1) use @IsNotMember vs !@Contains. (2) make a field computed for display (e.g., FIELD named: HideShow01, type number, computed for display) and put your formula in that. Then test. You can see what the formula evaluates to. Add part of your formula at a time. See the results. Then add more. This is the best way to debug a compound hidewhen. (3) Once you have it working, cut and paste the working formula into where you want it used. (4) consider leaving the field on the form and everywhere you need to use it, use its name (HideShow01) as the value in the hidewhen.
