Hi,

What is the Principal field and what is it used for?

I’ve been reading that it is used to change the reply to address.

i believe the Principal field refers to the sender’s name in the mail document.

The Principal field can be set so that the email appears to come from the Principal instead of the From. I use it to send out emails where I want any returns to be sent to Support rather than to me personally. Because I am running the agent that sends out the mail the reply to would give my name, but now displays the Principal.
