What is the limit of nested folders within mail file?

It appears that after 8 nested folders it does not allow the creation of a ninth nested folder.

Please advise.

Hi

I just did a quick test - i was able to create 12 nested folders with no problem. However, my naming convention for each folder was a single digit. Maybe the length of the folder name has some impact on the nesting depth.

There is a document i got from this site <edit - this forum i meant /edit>(well a link any way) that talks about ‘limits in Notes’ and it makes no comment on a limit for nested folders.

Actually. Upon further testing I’ve been able to create up to 14 nested folders and counting. Thx for the feedback.
