Hi, When configuring “ID recovery” with the Domino Administrator, there is a new button “Automate”, that by being pushed, opens a new window “Recovery Authority Automation Configuration”.
What is it for ? I’ve been unable to find information about it. Could someone point me into any document explaining its usefulness ?

The Recovery Authority Automation button does not offer any feature benefit for the Recovery Authority process. RA is already automated with the delivery of an updated ID file upon receipt of recovery information to the ID.
This button will be removed in Notes/Domino 8.0.2.

if the button is slated for removal in 8.0.2, why is it visible to begin with?

I was looking all over the place for details as well.
I just setup Recovery Information in my O certificate a few hours ago. I’ve been waiting for IDs to start showing up in my mail-in database, but nothing so far.
I thought that maybe it was because I hadn’t configured this.
It shows up in 8.5 Beta 1 by the way.
