I haven’t heard much about the battle between IBM and Microsoft for market share over the corporate mail business these days. I know you can’t compare apples to oranges and all that crap, but does anyone know what the market share is for corporate mail software?

Still is, depending on how you measure it. Gartner says Notes over Exchange 46% to 44.2% in their latest report, Bill Gates says Exchange has 75% of the market. Who you believe is up to you, I guess.

This article is 2004… and suggests that the share is declining due to uncertainity over workplace. (I’ve just seen it and it’s awesome - but moves Lotus firmly back into “What the hell is it anyway” territory).
