I found this Fax Server task inside Domino Administrator under tab Server | Task | Start.
Can anyone tell me what it is? Can it really send and receive fax?? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it’s a Fax server for Domino. It requires Domino and a telephone system, and allows Notes users to send and receive faxes from within their Notes Client.
It is currently supported for the iSeries platform, although it’s not the most commonly used feature.

We didn’t do any of these. Instead, we just signed up with a fax-via-email company. People address their messages to “fax phone number at fax service.com”. Inbound fax messages (the actual faxes are attachments) are received in one mail database (that I customized). The receptionist forwards the incoming fax messages to the recipients.
