Just to be on the safe side: What happens if I have an agent that retreives a document and it runs for an extended time and meanwhile a user changes (and saves) the same document in the UI? Will the agent overwrite the changed data or will there be a replication conflict? Or will there be an error raised that I can trap in the agent?
My first guess is that it should be a replication conflict, but I might be wrong. I’m rather wrong here than putting an application into production and find the result there…
Thanks!

If the agent is formula, then I’m not sure but I think it raises a replication conflict.
If the agent is script and you modify the document, what happens depends on the parameters you specify in the NotesDocument.Save method. Check out the Help file

Duh, of course! Talk about a total meltdown of the brain! I was thinking about script, and yes - that gives me the option to save as conflict or force an overwrite… Well, well…
Thanks!
