Frequently corrupted databases: we have a mail server, on which databases get frequently corrupted (example of an error message “Error updating view ‘($Inbox)’ in mail\SLU.nsf: Page format is incorrect”). We repair these databases by doing a fixup. I would like to know if the high size of these databases is sufficient to justify these corruptions ( some of them reach 4 GB), or if there is another specific reason that can explain this. Thanks for your help. Regards,Marie-Noëlle
Subject: What can be the reason for frequently corrupted databases?
Well im starting to believe that the higher the mail file size the more problems.I have one mail file size approaching 3 GB and it gets corrupted at least every month or two,(some weird problems also). All my other mail files are below 1 GB and never had a corruption issue.
