Hey Guys
I have enabled - Log_Authentication=1 & Log_Connections=1 on 1 of our servers.
We can see these kinds of messages on the console after we have added the .ini settings.
06/18/2010 12:32:10 PM Opened TCP/IP connection from 999.99.9.999,60524 to 999.99.9.999,80
06/18/2010 12:32:10 PM Closed TCP/IP connection from 999.99.9.999,60524 to 999.99.9.99,80
If we shutdown router
tell router quit
and if we shutdown smtp
tell smtp quit
We are still getting these messages on the console.
Does anyone know which addin is creating these messages ?
TIA

Subject: Port 80 = HTTP
Someone is accessing your server using http (port 80). You can see the port number after the comma in the log.
Hope this helps

Subject: What addin generates - Opened TCP/IP connection from
Hey Renaud
Have you added the Log_Authentication=1 & Log_Connections=1 to a server, if you had you would have noticed that the console generates many, many, many of these open & closes.
Notice the subject is - “What server addin” ?
I am extrememly familiar with the format of a socket, not that this has anything to do with my question !!!
“Hope this helps” - no it does not, pls. dont respond to any of my posts if you dont have experience with the environment.
My experience with these forums is that now that you have “answered” my question no one else is going to respond
Notice I mentioned smtp & router not http.
What server addin generates these messages ?
