I hope this has not been answered a bunch, because I can’t find it.
Notes 6.5 client. Welcome page customization. Created custom welcome page with two columns (frames). The left one is going to have the inbox, the right one is going to go to one our own custom applications (client-based, just to be clear).
When I try to indicate what should populate the right-hand frame, it lets me pick a server and database. THEN, it asks me to indicate the default view/folder. I pick a very valid view that everyone uses here daily.
ERROR: “View or folder ‘ABC123’ does not exist” … the name of the view being returned is the alias, not the actual name. The wierd part is that after I close the error message, I am at the view that it says doesnt exist. Is that strange or what?
Why is this? Is it simply a bug? I noticed someone had a similar problem in 2002, so I would expect it is me, and something I havent done right, like set a flag on the view or something. Please tell me it is something easy.
