I would like to know if there is a way in a template that when we register a new user an automatic e-mail can be generated welcoming the user to the company with a list of resources that they can contact.

IT
Facilities
etc.
Only want this to happen when a new user is registered. Not on a template replace/refresh.

A data note in a template will be transferred into a new database created from the template, but since it is data rather than design, it will not be transferred when existing databases have their designs refreshed or replaced. Create the mail document you want tosee in the new users’ mail databases, send it to yourself (or to a mail-in database with a generic “new user” name) so it appears in all respects to be a sent memo, then copy the memo into the inbox of your mail template.

You can modify the Aout Document in the mail template, add the info you want, and set property in the mail template to open the user mail in the about document.

The registration database template I believe has the script library. if not, you can attach some code to the routine that does that actual new user registration
