Weird behaviour when creating new calendar entry

One of my users experiences this behaviour when he tries to create a new calendar entry. Click the “new” button, causes the client to connect to the server. In fact, any operation on the new calendar form triggers this. I compared this to another machine and it does not behave this way. On both machine, the mail database is a on a local replica and the client is connected to the server.

Any ideas on how to change this behaviour?

Thanks in advance.

Subject: check your location doc

Is your location doc set to point to the local or server replica?

Subject: Location document

Sorry for the late reply. The location document showed local. I also open the database direct from the workspace to ensure it is the local replica that is being opened.

Subject: is there any of these?

hmmm…it’s weird that the problem happens on one machine, but not the other. Is there any of these installed on the machine where the problem happens?

  1. Is the client logged into Sametime, if so which version of Sametime is installed?

  2. Is the client logged into Quickr?

  3. Are there any 3rd party extensions or widgets installed?
