Is there a way to see (on the calendar tab) a view that mimics the print layout of the weekly calendar? Specifically, I want a weekly view that has each day in its own column, and which makes it easy to see (via visual representation, whether appointments overlap - because they are staggered next to each other). Is there such a view and how can I keep it permanently a part of my calendar viewing options?

Why can’t you set the default to whichever format you want? It’s on the calendar tab. Additionally, you should be able to remove all the options you don’t want the user to see.Once you’ve set the default and limited the choices, the use can still switch between the options you left intact (or you can provide them actions to make the changes).

Doesn’t the Work Week view do what you are looking for? Days in columns, appointments next to each other, etc?
