Webmail with multiple servers

I have three mail servers and i have domino webmail setup. Internally everything works fine. You got to the url http://mail.domain.com and you get redirect to http://server(1,2 or 3).domain.com . I have setup external access by replicating all the mailboxes to a mail server in my DMZ and have my external users access that box. I dont think this is the best way to do it because of the replication over head and some issues i have with unread marks.

I have a microsoft ISA server ( caching only) that have tried to confiigure as a reverse proxy but to date i have been unsuccesful.

Can anyone give me a solution so that i can have my users access thier mail externally in a secure manner? The users are spread accross all three servers on different physical locations and network segements and i use the webmail redirect file to locate the users.

Thanks in advance.

The redirect works for internal servers and it is quite easy to set up however i cant get it to work for access from the Internet. I am still seeking a solution

Did you look at the WebMail Redirector app that comes with 6.5? It is an Advanced Template (I think), and it may do what you are looking for. Kind of easy to setup, too. All of the documentation for it is in the database.

HTH.
