I am using two lotus domino servers. One domino server is on my local network and it is my administrator server and all user mail databases are resided in this local server to serve all users mail database. All local mail is relay through this local domino server. Also it is my domino application server.
Another server is acting as a SMTP gateway for external incoming and outgoing mail which is resided to the external network (internet). My local mail server uses this external server for external mail relay to outer world.
My problem is to give users support to there web mail. I know my entire users mail database is reside to local and I cannot give user to web mail support.
Only solution I can give is I create a replicate to all users mail database to the external mail server.
Recently I find out ‘Domino everyplace access server’ don’t need to create replica copy to the server where it has been setup. It can fetch mail from local domino server using java servelet and nicely present user’s mail in mobile devices even all mail databases is actually reside on a local server which is not to the internet.
So, is there any other servelet or any other way to use to obtain or fetch mail from local mail database server for web mail support?
